Organised as part of the European Week Against Racism, the Soccer Blitz was organised by South Dublin County Council in collaboration with the FAI. Teams from primary and secondary schools from all over the county converged on Clondalkin to compete over two days in the sunshine. The event was the culmination of a social inclusion initiative called "Show Racism the Red Card".
