Taken from 'The Liberties', Tailorman is the story of a man happy in his work and in his place of work. Locked away in his walk up workshop on Thomas Street, the Tailorman is busy all day making band uniforms, costumes and all manner of bespoke clothing that people cannot easily buy. His door is closed to the public. Entry to this world is only granted to those who know the secret knock. Drug use and criminal activity forced the Tailorman to shut his door many years ago and retreat into his own space. “Some people would call this a prison, but it’s not, it’s heaven.”
