Following the death of Pake Walker, his son Pat climbs the high hill of Bull na Mór, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, to honour his father's memory and to contemplate a life spent at sea.
An extract from the eulogy written by Pat Walker for his father:
Hello, my name is Pat. I am the oldest of a family of 13 and I feel it's my duty to pay tribute to our late father, Patrick Walker better known as Pake Walker. Pake, like his father before him, was a fisherman all his life. A fisherman's role is never described as a career or profession, but it is often spoke about as a way of life or “the sea is in his blood”.
