"There's No Charge for the Hat" will be screened on June 6th and 7th in a programme of short films selected and presented by Maurice Galway of the Dingle International Film Festival.
Shot in colloboration with Patrick Bolger, the film explores the world of a Midlands couple in posession of a hat which is reputed to cure ailments.
The screening takes place at the Franciscan Friary on Merchants Quay at 1.10pm and will feature The White Dress (2006, Dir. Vanessa Gildea), Pentecost (2010, Dir. Peter McDonald), Give Up Your Aul Sins (2000, Dir. Cathal Gaffney), and Rubaí (2013, Dir. Louise Ní Fhiannachta).
